Experience
Center for River Studies
Research Assistant
Aug. 2025 - Present

As a Research Assistant at the LSU Center for River Studies, I support hydraulic modeling and sediment transport research aimed at improving river and coastal management. My work involves assisting with data entry, organization, and interpretation to support model calibration and analysis. I conduct measurements of river flow, water levels, and sediment samples to provide accurate inputs for ongoing hydraulic and soil research projects.
HALFF
Water Resources Intern
Jan 2025- Aug 2025

As a Water Resources Intern at HALFF, I supported hydrologic and hydraulic modeling efforts related to flood risk and groundwater management. My work included developing and refining sediment transport models, assisting with unsteady flow simulations, and performing GIS tasks such as raster reprojection. I also contributed to groundwater quality assessments by creating concentration contour maps and helped advance community resilience by developing FEMA CRS-compliant flood education materials.
LaHouse Research and Education Center
Student Worker
Aug. 2024 - Dec. 2024

As a student worker I contributed to ongoing research projects. I co-authored an educational book focused on flood mitigation, green infrastructure, and climate impacts on homes. I also helped lead tours for students and community members, showcasing resilient building practices. Through hands-on demonstrations, I engaged visitors in interactive lessons on thermal insulation and flood protection to show its importance.
